When Jillian found out about her 15-year-old son’s cancer, she was angry at God and yelled at Him that He couldn’t take her son’s life. God whispered His answer into her heart, and it changed everything.
This message is for everyone struggling with illness, trouble and difficulty of all sorts. And for everyone who has ever asked the question, “Where are you God?”

Prayer:
Thank you, dear heavenly Father, for Jillian and her family.
We pray that Jillian and Nathan’s story will help others who are going through trouble right now. We pray that their story will draw people to You.
Thank you for the gift of life for all of us.
Thank you for protecting Nathan throughout his illness.
Thank you for never abandoning or forgetting us in every difficulty. Help us to see your love in every trial, even when we only see trouble, and we feel alone.
Especially at these times, remind us that you promise to be with us, and that you always keep your promises.
Remind us that this life on earth isn’t meant to last forever. Remind us that our true home is with you in heaven where there will be no more pain, no more suffering, no more tears, and no more death.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
