🤔Is it Worth it?

Starting a Christian blog.

According to WordPress, this is my first post on my blog. I’m a total newbie at blogging, and I’m the first to admit that I’m struggling with the whole set up. I spent several weeks trying to learn the process and set up the website. Grrrr! After lots of frustration, I questioned whether this was such a good idea after all.

I asked myself why I was putting myself through so much stress. Wouldn’t it just be easier to forget the whole thing, and say that it was too hard? Why was I doing it anyway?

My aim is to spread the good news of Jesus to as wide an audience as possible. It’s NOT about me. At my age, I find myself asking questions about the value of my life, and my purpose for being here. In my search for answers, I find that others are asking exactly the same questions.

So, that’s the reason for this blog – to share my wanderings and wonderings, as you too navigate through this messy life, searching for your own answers to the big questions.

Whenever one finds something good, one can’t help but share it. If you find a good diet, or a magic cure for something, or a great place to visit, you want to share it with your friends. Just take a look at Facebook! As a Christian, I want to share the good news of Jesus. Not because I have to, for my own benefit, but because I believe that Jesus died for you. He died to save you! This is a free gift that you don’t deserve, but you can have, because Jesus paid for you. This gift is for your life now, and eternal life after death. Wow! That’s worth sharing.

So, as I struggle with the internet set up, I ask God to remind me why I am doing it. It is for God’s glory, and for your good. It’s not about me. I just want to point you to God, who LOVES you.

For God so loved the world, that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have eternal life.
